Truesec was founded in 2005 by Marcus Murray. The idea was to gather Sweden’s top experts in IT security and build the business around the specialists’ drive.

Initially, Truesec undertook assignments such as penetration testing, incident management, and securing IT environments. Additionally, Truesec conducted lectures and training on system infiltration techniques and defenses against data breaches. By assembling a large number of specialists in cybersecurity, we could do more and drive developments within cybersecurity. We developed several tools and methods that gained international recognition.
