Senior Consultant – Incident Response (CSIRT)

Tim spent his career before Truesec ensuring small financial institutions could meet the demands of todays security standards.  He realized that exposure was just the tip of the iceberg and the world of IT security had much more to teach him.  Tim loves troubleshooting, finding problems, and being able to bring them to a resolution.

Tim’s passion is programming.  He spends his free time writing software for games he no longer has time to play and supporting his existing deployments.  Tim loves learning the new programming language that comes out and seeing how he can use it at Truesec.

About Truesec

Truesec was founded in 2005 by Marcus Murray. The idea was to gather Sweden’s top experts in IT security and build the business around the specialists’ drive.

Initially, Truesec undertook assignments such as penetration testing, incident management, and securing IT environments. Additionally, Truesec conducted lectures and training on system infiltration techniques and defenses against data breaches. By assembling a large number of specialists in cybersecurity, we could do more and drive developments within cybersecurity. We developed several tools and methods that gained international recognition.

Our mission: prevent breach and minimize impact.
