Today, we employ around 270+ employees in six countries – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Advisor who wants to make a difference in our Secure Strategy Team.
Secure Strategy
As trusted advisors, we help our customers strengthen their cyber defense capabilities by developing end-to-end cybersecurity strategies tailored to their needs. We have a unique insight based on firsthand experience of data breaches and cybercrime, which we use to determine what is required to protect today's modern digital environments. We also draw on the expertise of our Detect and Disarm domain (our SOC service), which monitors more than 250,000 endpoints 24/7/365. We guide our customers, both strategically and tactically along the way, providing them with reliable security solutions to ensure business continuity.
The Role
In this role, you will be a part of the Secure Strategy Team at Truesec, granting you the opportunity to work with some of the best security specialists in the world. Your role as trusted advisor is to guide our customers through the cyber-jungle on their road to establish an adequate cybersecurity.
Your Background
You must be good at communicating with a wide range of stakeholders from IT technicians and developer to senior management in order to advise and translate requirements and to design security roadmaps that will be implemented. You have solid experience of information and data protection challenges and how they affect the business. You have the ability to pedagogy explain how different cybersecurity abilities works together, how to prioritize between them and adapt to the customers risk appetite. You also must be familiar with security solutions and security best practices in on-premises and cloud environments. To succeed in the role, we believe you have several years of experience of working in information and cyber security.
Required Skills:
• Expertise in information and cyber security
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS, GDPR, ISO 2700x
• Knowledge of on-premises and cloud infrastructure
• Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Office 365
• Knowledge of security technology and existing products
• Knowledge of Risk management
• Ability to understand business processes and requirements, to translate them into security requirements, and to identify the most adequate security technology and tools
• Communication skills
• Ability to write complex texts in English
• Ability to present to a technical or a business audienceTeam player
Bonus Skills:
• Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity incident response
• Experience working as a manager in an organization
Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Swedish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Swedish work permit.
